Things in my house have been chaotic to say the least. I don't know if it is because of my upcoming return to work, a baby who won't nurse or because of the holiday season, but honestly, it's probably all of the above. With all of the chaos, "me time" is pretty difficult to get, but I have found two things that help tremendously: getting to the gym and baking. Kind of counterproductive since one is healthy and the other is so not, but for now it's working!
While exploring recipes, I found it. THE best chocolate chip cookie recipe that you cannot screw up. I have so little confidence in the kitchen but these cookies never disappoint.
Warning: people WILL request you bring these to all events because they are so. good.
**The recipe is below but I would HIGHLY suggest going over to A Bountiful Kitchen's original post for Tried and True Chocolate Chip cookies for her "Recipe Notes" section. She gives specifics on how to get your butter at the perfect baking temperature as well as suggestions for when baking at different altitudes!**
Hi, I'm Rebecca
I’m a wife, mom to 5 kids, former choir teacher, Christian and advice giver? I can honestly say I never expected to be the one giving advice when I so frequently ask for it, but the advice I’ve received is so valuable and must be shared! Here are some of the things I’ve learned so far!
